Azerbaijan is one of the smaller former Soviet States. Buses are partly still reminiscent of that period, with Ikarus and PAZ buses still present. Predominant however, are secondhand imports from Western Europe. New buses come from Turkey, other former Soviet States, South Korea and China. Interesting are the rebuilt long distance buses where the roof has been raised by a meter or so to create a large luggage space. |
