One of the models which KPTC tested after the Gulf War was this Turkish Mercedes-Benz. However, the 5000-series Ikarus and 6000-series Volvo buses were favoured. This bus was found stoured in 2009, still in the old blue livery; it had not been repainted into the new white livery.
