One of KPTC's new buses after the Gulf War was an Ikarus of the new 400-series model. It was based on the DAF SB220-chassis. It must have been put into service in the then current white livery with blue skirts and was later repainted into the "blue with waves" livery. After withdrawal from service it was used as a staff bus.
