Gezira recieved a fleet of 80 Berliet/Renault coaches with Italian Borsani bodywork. The Berliet name on the buses is somewhat puzzling as Berlie had become Renault by then. The I-series has slam coach-doors (see below) and luxury seats. It also differs from the C-series by having a rear-engine layout. It also has a rear-roof-mounted airconditioning unit, lacking on the C-series. |
