1 Where Phaya Thai- Phahon Yothin and Ratchawithi Road come together is the victory monument, (Anusawari Chai Samoraphum) at the center of a traffic circle. The militairy monument was erected in June 1941 to commemorate the Thai victory in the Franco-Thai War. The monument is in Ratchathewi District, northeast of central Bangkok.
A large number of BMTA-bus lines have the starting point / terminus together with a host of Van-routes running day and night.

Taking one of airport buses from central Bangkok to Don Mueang Airport (DMK) is one of the cheapest ways to get there. It is recommended to board the public bus A1 or A2 at the bus stop at Victory Monument or near BTS SkyTrain Mo Chit Station, MRT Metro Chatuchak Park Station.
