RFTC TOWN SERVICE, ZONE 3 (GREEN), RWANDA

In August 2013 the new bus system in Kigali was inaugurated. The Rwanda Federation of Transport Cooperatives won zones 3 and 4 on a five year concession. Zone 3 (routes in the 300-series) is operated with buses in a white livery with green stripes. Initially old buses were used. Currently Toyota Coaster and Toyota Hiace are in service, though there are still a few other buses. The small vehicles are used on secondary routes that do not come into the city center.
