Rwanda’s national bus company ONATRACOM has also provided services between Kigali and Kampala, using its very basic buses which were meant for Rwanda’s rural roads. However, as ticket  prices were lower they were popular with the less affluant passengers. In 2016 the company is going through a major restructuring.
