General information

The Caribbean island of Aruba seceded from the Netherlands Antilles in 1986 and became a separate, autonomous member of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Its main source of income is tourism, with cruise ships calling daily and with a range of large resorts along the southwest coast.

Since 2013 Aruba also has a small tramway, with replica battery trams, aimed at cruise ship passengers. Information on the Arutram page.

Several companies provide tourist services. The largest one, with over 3o coaches, is De Palm Tours. Second is Fofoti Tours & Transfers. Both have their pages.

Smaller companies have party buses, often ex-US school buses with no windows, though there are also windowless Hyundai County buses.
