Chausson
In 1954 public transport in Cairo was re-organised and CTA was created. There was a public call for tenders to deliver new buses. Chausson won and on 16 November 1954 the first 35 buses entered service. By the end of the year there were 125. The order was for 150, but by the end of 1955 there were 170 delivered, according to the book. They had Hispano-Hercules engines. There is one picture in the book "La Grande Aventure des Cars Chaussons" by Nicolas Tellier, ISBN 2-904675-21-3 (1988, sold out). The above picture (collection Casper Boehme) shows two Chausson and a Nasr 110. It must have been taken around 1960
