The system uses 750 V DC overhead catenary. The East-West line 1 is 17.35 km long and has 22 stations, six of which are on elevated track. The North-South line 2 is 16.9 km long and also has 22 stations, eight of which are on elevated track and one is underground. As five elevated stations are shared between line 1 and 2 the total number of stations is 39. Line 1 started operations on 9 November 2015, line 2 on 20 September 2015. Trial operations started on 1 February 2015. The construction began in 2011 and total costs were US$ 475 million. There are 41 three-section low-floor light rail vehicles built by CNR Changun. Line 1 vehicles are white-green, line tow vehicles white-blue. Each line has its own depot-yard. Extensions are planned.
