Series D100

Construction of the 190 Optare Solo buses started in a new purpose-built factory in Elsies River (near Cape Town). in April 2012. The 9-meter buses are assembled from kits prepared in Leeds in the UK. As much as possible local content is used. The buses are used on the CDB-routes in the 100-series. From observations it would appear that the D100-series are operated by Transpeninsula and the D200-series by TBRT. On this page the D200-series buses.
