SORETRAK (http://www.soretrak.com.tn/) SORETRAK is responsible for bus transport in the "Gouvernorat" of Kairouan in the centre of the country. The company was created on 19 January 1963 and operated passenger as well as goods transport services. Goods transport was abandoned in March 1987. As one of the government public transport companies the fleet consists of the standard models, including articulated buses. SORETRAK numbers its buses: 1000s-eries is midibuses, 2000-series standard buses, 3000 and 4300-series articulated buses and 4000 and 4700-series long-distance coaches.
