When visited in May 2014 CAR was operating a fleet of modern Mercedes-Benz buses with Marcopolo bodywork and some Toyota Coaster. Marcopolo buses seen were numbered up to 34, the Toyota Coasters between 35 and 47, indicating a fleet strength of some 50 buses. A government website provides information on the 15 routes operated and the fares. The site also mentions that there is currently one main public transport provider - Cars Transport Corporation - which is a private operator that is regulated by the Ministry of Transportation’s Land Transport division under a concession agreement.
