Hundreds of TATA school buses were bought during the 1980's, maybe already the 1970's. The KPTC 25-year anniversary leaflet (which should date from 1987) shows numbers 1213, 1308, 1309, 1310, 1731, 1810 and 1972, the latter in the light-blue livery with white roof, all the others in the white livery with blue stripes. In 2009 a few buses of this model were still found, though out of service: 1738, 1748 and rebuilt blue1784.
