The Mercedes-Benz O305 was the most popular version of the German VOV I standard urban bus. KPTC recieved 434 buses of this model which became the standard urban bus during the 1980's. Several scrapped survivors were found in the new millennium, with at least two (3229 and 3345) painted in the new licht blue livery and the others in the white livery with blue skirst. Initially these buses were blue with only white upper parts, as can be seen on the picture of the bus station. Deliveries were as follows:
