The last two buses of the 1993-batch of 20 Ikarus 253 buses were built as "conference buses", a type of vehicle already known by KPTC during its first years of existence. Technically they are identical to the other Ikarus 253-buses with a DAF LT210 engine and Voith Diwa 864 gearbox. On of these buses was shown at the Budapest Industrial Fair BNV. It then already had the "blue-wave" livery.
