Company website http://www.mowasalat.com/en/portal KARWA operates public transport buses (around 400), school buses (over 1000) and taxis, plus numerous other services. The coming years (in anticipation of the world cup in 2022) huge investements will be made in transport: up to 2000 buses, new highways, as metro and light rail network as well as connections to the regional rail network that is currently under construction. The fleet of KARWA consists of MAN buses (MAN Lion's Classic and Lion's Coach, 200 of which were delivered), which appear to be out of service, newere Mercedes-Benz -Comil buses and coaches from Brazil and various Chinese buses, including double deckers, as the latest additions. KARWA also has open top double deckers for tours and amphiby buses. The website states that Mowalasat produces its own buses, which probably means that Chinese buses are assembled. |
