Most public transport in Saudi Arabia is in the hands of SAPTCO, the Saudi Public Transport Company. Another very large company is Abusharhad. In addition there are many private buses and coaches, many of which are only used once a year during the Hadj, the pilgrimage to Mecca.
The only local bus building appears to be (or to have been) assembly of Blue Bird and Thomas school buses by Aljomaih's Riyadh Bus Plant.
