General information
Taber Tours
Taber Tours is the oldest touring and coach company in Curacoa. In 2012 it merged with tour operator Funbini and became FBTT, though buses still carry the Taber Tours name.
From the company website:
“FBTT Travel is a full-service tourism and passenger transport company based on Curaçao, and is the island’s largest incoming tour operator. It provides a wide variety of high-quality services to leading cruise and airlines, travel wholesalers and their clients. Services are also provided to local organizations, government agencies, schools, private groups and VIPs, with over 200,000 guests using FBTT Travel’s services each year.
Having the island’s largest fleet of vehicles and highly professional guides, drivers and hostesses gives FBTT Travel a unique competitive edge in the industry. FBTT Travel’s strengths lie in continuous staff training, intensive cooperation with partners and – above all – an unwavering dedication to guest satisfaction.
If you work with FBTT Travel, you can expect reliability, punctuality, continuous product development improvements, strict compliance with international standards, and safe and secure operations.
65 years of experience and great relationships
FBTT Travel was established in 2012 when Taber Tours and Funbini joined forces. Combining Taber Tours’ 65 years experience and comprehensive bus license with Funbini’s cruise and industry expertise has resulted in FBTT Travel becoming a company with a solid foundation of structural business year-round.
Using its extensive experience over the past 65 years and benefiting from having the largest market share on Curaçao, FBTT Travel has developed to become a sound partner with long-term partnerships in the cruise business, stay-over tourist market and the local market.
FBTT Travel prides itself on its excellent relationships within the industry, including 30+ years of cooperation with KLM and many other leading international tour operators and cruise lines.”
The modern fleet now consiste mainly of Golden Dragon coaches. Around 2010 the company used Hyundai coaches and around 2000 Brazilian Mercedes coaches were used. Before that even some secondhand coaches from the Netherlands were imported.
